How to Contact Us: The studio/office is open on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 pm until FEB. 29TH or one hour before any regular workshop. We are also always available by email, Facebook, voice-mail and carrier pigeon almost every day. You can always reserve by e-mail mail@searsandswitzer.com or FACEBOOK or by phone us at 416-5164612. LEAVE US A MESSAGE to reserve a workshop or just to ask a question. We will respond quickly.

HOW TO REGISTER OR RESERVE A CLASS:


STEP 1: Choose your class. Please note: you must be over 18 years old to study with us.

STEP 2: Reserve your place. Use the voice-mail 416 5164612 or mail@searsandswitzer.com [Do it right away! You will have priority in the next available class if the one you choose is full. And we often add extra sessions. Always ask to be placed on our waiting lists. You will sometimes be able to get into a class at the last minute. NOTE:  RESERVE NOW by email or phone for sessions A.S.A.P. Some classes are on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, if it is a choice between two actors of equal resume, we select the FIRST reservation for class admission in more advanced sessions.

STEP 3: Confirm your reservation by paying in advance BEFORE THE DEADLINE, posted on the class listing pages! If you miss the deadline we will be forced to go to the actors on the stand-by list. We accept cash, cheque, Visa or MasterCard or American Express but not debit. Feel free to leave your credit card number and the expiry date on our secure voice-mail or give us a phone number to call you for it. If you have given us your credit card number within the last 3 months we can use it again but you still have to tell us that it’s OK for us to do that. You can also mail a check to the mailing address, Sears & Switzer, 110 Hepbourne Street #109, Toronto, M6H 1K5, but let us know that you’ve put your cheque in the mail if it’s close to the deadline!  

Note: Reserve your workshop right away. Then confirm by payment.

AND That important fine-print $$$ stuff: We  accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, cash, checks or money order but not DEBIT/INTERACT/ABM. Credit card payments are processed immediately. Be careful and don't let any of your checks bounce. Our bank now charges us $40.00 For NSF checks and we now have to pass on that outrageous fee to you.  Receipts are issued at the first class or when you pay in person. 

Be sure all dates are suitable for your schedule. Think of your registration like it was a THEATRE  ticket; you can’t miss the show! Remember all course cancellations may only be made without penalty up until 7 days before the first class.  After that time we will deduct a late-cancellation fee of 50% of your course value. If you miss the first class or cancel with less than 48-hours notice we may retain 100% of your class fee. We cannot allow replacement and/or re-scheduled classes once you have begun a workshop or class series. If you are not satisfied with a class and you have attended every session, we offer a 100% refund after a brief interview. 

We normally don’t allow make-up classes since our methodology uses the assigned scenes from the previous week’s session and we cast from the core actors in class only but THAT MEANS that every actor works a lot in class. Similarly we do not allow class audits. We believe that you only learn by participation. 

Class placement is always at our discretion; interview, audition, or referral are required for most classes, except for weekend workshops or acting fundamentals. We will call you to make sure you are in the best class for your experience level. 

* Our privacy policy: We retain your names, photos, email, and phone numbers for three years so that we can track your class participation. We assume that as a performer you will want us to occasionally suggest your name to casting people and agents, if asked. We will also act as a confidential reference for the industry or other schools if requested. If you do NOT want us to use this information on your behalf, please let us know upon course registration. We keep credit card information on paper files only for 4 months and will never release it to anyone else, except for formal bank requests. We do not keep e-files or e-archive your credit card details.
