Theatre-based scene study is the essential training experience for all actors in film, stage and television work...You must have fundamental actor training and should have experience on-stage or on-camera for this class. BUT no, you do not have to ALREADY be a trained professional... that's kind of the point of the class!

Every session you take in our scene study is a new, individually focused growth opportunity... and yes, you can do it often. Scene study is about a lot more than watching other actors work... In our scene study class, every actor works under direction, every night, every hour.

Participants are selected based on interview or prior work with us. You should have beyond-beginner level experience or training to get the most out of this class. You are expected to memorize and rehearse scenes outside of class time.

WHEN YOU REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS, WE OFFER YOU AN OPEN STUDIO FROM 6:00 TO 7:30 for warm-ups, BUSINESS chats and scene preparation work. please note before registration: This is NOT an on-camera class... it uses modern theatre scenes and live performance as its core teaching mode but IT IS AN EXTREMELY VALUABLE SKILL-BUILDING CLASS FOR ACTORS WHO WANT TO DO FILM AND TV.
Confirmation deadline: Reserve your workshop right away. Then confirm by payment. You are not registered unless you have paid in full before class payment deadlines: Tuesday Jan. 12 for Jan/Feb sessions or Tuesday March 16th for March/April sessions.
Note: CONFIRM YOUR DATES FIRST! No refunds once you start the course... see the REGISTER page for details on our guarantee. We don’t allow make-up classes since our methodology uses the assigned scenes from the previous week’s session and we cast from the core actors in class only. Similarly we do not allow class audits.
